Crosstown Rivals Face Off Tonight
Our Cam High Scorpions will have the home field advantage tonight when they take on the Rio Mesa Spartans. Even though the Scorpions have already clinched the Pacific View League championship, they’re still focusing all of their attention on tonight’s game. As Head Coach Dennis Riedmiller says in today’s edition of the Camarillo Acorn, “It’s nice to win a league championship, but it means absolutely nothing if we don’t take care of business against Rio Mesa.” And senior defensive end Tre Boswell sums it up quite well from the players’ perspective: “Football’s fun.
